AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to purchase from the owners thereof certain real property
in St. Louis, Missouri, for the purpose of right-of-way along the
River des Peres,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer of the District are hereby authorized to
purchase from the owners thereof, the following real property in
St. Louis Missouri, for the purpose of right-of-way along the
River des Peres, at a price not to exceed Nine Hundred Dollars
($900.00), said property to be free of all encumbrances, said
property described as follows:
Part of Lot 4, Peter Richard Kenrick's Subdivision, C. B. 3221 and
as described by Deed recorded in Book 6842, Page 589, City of
St. Louis Records.
Section Two. Upon the execution and delivery to them
by said owner of a Warranty Deed in proper form, being free from
liens and encumbrances, conveying title to the said land to The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer shall be and are hereby authorized and
directed to pay to said owner, for the said land, the total sum of
Nine Hundred Dollars ($900.00).
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 27, 1974.
