AN ORDINANCE awarding a contract to the Commercial
Union Insurance Company (Harlan Insurance Services of St. Louis,
Inc., agents), for the District's equipment insurance coverage
from May 1, 1974 to May 1, 1977 with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Commercial Union Insurance Company who
submitted the lowest bid to the District for the District's
equipment insurance of those bids received and opened on April 23
1974, at 11:00 A.M. at the District's office by the
Secretary-Treasurer, at and for prepaid three-year premium of Two
Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-six Dollars ($2,656.00) for such policy
period, is hereby awarded the contract for such equipment
insurance coverage.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the award of a
contract for the District's equipment insurance and thus being
necessary for the protection of the public welfare, constitutes an
emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall
be and become effective immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 24, 1974.
