CITY OF TIFFIN ORDINANCE°NO. 2013-337
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF TIFFIN, IOWA, FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY. KNOWN AS TIFFIN
HEIGHTS, TIFFIN; JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA, AND AS LEGALLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIFFIN, IOWA: a
Section 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the
official zoning map of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, concerning property locally
described as Tiffin Heights, Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa, attached hereto
and incorporated herein.
Section 2. p Amendment. The following legally described
property (7.35 acres):.,
Commencing at the East Quarter Corner.of Section 29, Township 80 North, Range 7 West, of the.
5th P.M. Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa; Thence N00°47'36"E, along the East Line of the

to the Point of Beginning; Thence continuing S90°00'00"W, 534.30 feet, Thence N00°56'33"E,
215.96 feet; Thence S89°45'54"W, 216.99 feet; Thence N00°23'46"E, 556.70 feet; Thence
S89°36'14"E, 437.91 feet; Thence S00°47'36"W, 518.25 feet; Thence S19°09'35"E, 238.14 feet; r
Thence N54°31'00"E, 189.34'feet; Thence Southeasterly 142.52 feet,along an arc of a 340.00 •
foot radius curve,-concave Northeasterly, whose 1'41.48 foot chord bears S47°29'32"E; Thence

Thence Southwesterly 271.45 feet, along an arc of a 1000:00 foot radius curve, Concave-,
Northwesterly, whose 270.62 foot chord bears S82°42'09"W; Thence Southwesterly
273.96 feet, along an arc of a 1000.00,foot radius curve, concave Southeasterly, whose

City be amended to reflect the change described herein.
Section 6. Repealer: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in.
conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 7. Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this
ordinance shall be adjudged' to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as 4a whole, or
any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Sectidrn 8. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect after
its final passage, approval, and posting as provided by law.
On the 28th,day of August 2013, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,
Tiffin, Iowa, Councilpersori Ryan introduced Ordinance No 2013-337, and
moved=that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by
Councilperson Kahler. -
Ayes: Kahler,,Ryan, Bartels, Upton, Phillips
Nays: none
Five members of the Council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor r
Steve Berner declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 2013-337, was
read the first time, discussed, and placed on record.
On the 11th day of September 2013, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City
Council, Tiffin, Iowa,.Councilperson Ryan introduced Ordinance No 2013-
337, and moved that it be given its second reading. The motion,was seconded
by Councilperson Bartels.

Nays: Upton E
Four members of the Council being.present.and-having voted "Aye", Mayor
Steve Berner declared the motion'carried, and Ordinance No. 2013-337, was
- read the second time and discussed and placed on record.
On the 25th day of September 2013, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City
Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Bartels introduced Ordinance No. 2013-
337,and moved that it be given its third and last reading. The motion was
seconded by Councilperson Upton.

Four members'of the Council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor
Steve Berner declared the motion carried,and the ordinance was passed and
adopted.
Whereupon the Mayor declared that Ordinance No. '2013-337 be adopted and
ti signified his'approval of same by fixing his'signature thereto. Passed by the
Council on the 25th day of September 2013 and approved by the Mayor on the
