AN ORDINANCE, vacating a sewer easement and the unused
sewer therein in the City of St. Louis, Missouri,
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, Missouri, by Ordinance
46588 vacated the eastern portion of the east-west alley in City
Block 2178 extending westwardly approximately three hundred
fifty-five (355) feet from the north-south alley in City Block
2178, and
WHEREAS, by said Ordinance the City of St. Louis
reserved an easement for sewer purposes over said east-west alley
and The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District is successor in
title to said easement, and
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has
requested this District to vacate such easement strip, and this
District has no further use for such easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The following described sewer easement
is hereby vacated, to wit:
That sewer easement reserved by the City of St. Louis,
Missouri, by its Ordinance No. 46588, lying in the eastern
portion of the former east-west alley in City Block 2178
extending westwardly approximately three hundred fifty-five
feet from the former north-south alley in City Block 2178.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 22, 1974.
