HomeMy Public PortalAbout02599 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2599 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 403 (Old Halls Ferry and Netherton) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 403 (Old Halls Ferry and Netherton). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 403 (Old Halls Ferry and Netherton) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 OLD HALLS FERRY & NETHERTON Beginning in the western line of Old Halls Ferry Rd., distant therealong S. 28 degrees 18 minutes E., 450.70' from the southeast corner of property conveyed to Frederick Alsmeyer by deed recorded in Bk. 646, Pg. 626, St. Louis County, Mo. Recorder's office, and being at the northeast corner of property conveyed to Walter A. and Julia K. Merkt, by deed recorded in Bk. 3443, Pg. 635, said Recorder's office; thence along the western line of Halls Ferry Rd., S. 18 degrees 28 minutes east, 689.81' and S. 24 degrees 19 minutes E., 110.19' to the southeast corner of property conveyed to Reid L. and Genevieve Lux by deed recorded in Bk. 2970, Pg. 386, said Recorder's office; thence along the south line of said Lux property, N. 89 degrees 22 minutes west, 198.55' to its southwest corner; thence N. 28 degrees 15 minutes W., being along the rear lines of properties conveyed to said Lux, and to George G. Fancher and wife, Adolph C. Schneider and wife, and William L. Howard and wife (by deeds recorded in Bk. 5536, Pg. 435, Bk. 2499, Pg. 546 and Bk. 6674, Pg. 1104, resp.,) to the southeast corner of property conveyed to E. Walter Koenn and wife by deed recorded in Bk. 1955, Pg. 525, said Recorder's office; thence N. 89 degrees 22 minutes W., 121.97', N. 28 degrees 18 minutes W., 378.56' and N. 61 degrees 42 minutes E., 106.75' along the southern, western and northern lines, resp., of said Koenn property, to the northern most corner of said Koenn property, being in the western line of said Walter A. and Julia K. Merkt property; thence N. 28 degrees 18 minutes W. and S. 89 degrees 22 minutes E. along the western 3 and northern lines, resp., of said Merkt property to the beginning. 4 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 12, 1974.
