AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to purchase from Maroon Brothers, Inc. the Maryville
Trunk Sewer in St. Louis County, Missouri, for the purpose of
making said sewer a part of the public sewer system, and
WHEREAS, Maroon Brothers, Inc. constructed the
Maryville Trunk Sewer in St. Louis County, Missouri, and
WHEREAS, Maroon Brothers is entitled to recoup the
balance of $9,000,00 for the construction of said Maryville Trunk
Sewer, and
WHEREAS, Allan T. Knopf, a subdivider, is desirous of
making a connection for the subdivision known as Maryville Gardens
to the Maryville Trunk Sewer and is willing to pay $5,080.00 of
the remaining $9,000.00, and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District is
desirous of making the Maryville Trunk Sewer a permanent part of
its public sewer system in St. Louis County and can do so by
paying the remaining $3,920.00 to be recouped.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
are hereby authorized to purchase from Maroon Brothers, Inc. the
Maryville Trunk Sewer in St. Louis County, Missouri, for the
purpose of making said sewer a part of the public sewer system, at
a price not to exceed Three Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty Dollars
($3,920.00). The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 14, 1974.
