AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St, Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer
facilities of the District and Subdistrict No. 150 (Sugar Creek).
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the
owner of the land in said area, praying for annexation to the
District and Subdistrict No. 150 (Sugar Creek); and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and the existing sewers of the District are
adequate to handle all of its sanitary sewage, that the interests
of sanitation and public health of the District will be promoted
by including the area in its territory; and that the sewage flow
from the area proposed to be annexed has no available outlet
through public sanitary sewers other than those of the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point being the Northwest corner of Lot 15 of
Dougherty Woods, a subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri,
according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 129,
Pages 58, 59, 60 and 61 of the St. Louis County Records,
which point is a point on the existing boundary of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District as extended by
Ordinance No. 2017, adopted April 2, 1970; thence southwardly
along the West line of said Dougherty Woods Subdivision,
South 0 degrees 49 minutes 47 seconds West, 375 feet to a
point, which West line is a part of the existing District
boundary; thence North 89 degrees 09 minutes West, 15 feet to
a point; thence North 66 degrees 01 minute 28 seconds West,
117.17 feet to a point; thence South 71 degrees 17 minutes 57
seconds West, 119.53 feet to a point; thence North 18 degrees
42 minutes 03 seconds West, 63.04 feet to a point of curve;
thence along a curve to the right having a radius of 720
feet, a distance of 76.35 feet to a point; thence North 12
degrees 37 minutes 32 seconds West, 14.47 feet to a point;
thence along a curve to the right having a radius of 20 feet
a distance of 32.47 feet to a point of compound curvature;
thence along a curve to the right having a radius of 400 feet
a distance of 64.65 feet to a point; thence North 0 degrees
20 minutes 52 seconds West, a distance of 187.83 feet to a
point; thence North 83 degrees 29 minutes 23 seconds East,
28.64 feet to a point; thence South 89 degrees 09 minutes
East, 176.87 feet to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by the owner of all the land in said area.
Section Three. That the interests of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.
Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area

proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District.
Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and Subdistrict No. 150
(Sugar Creek) are hereby extended so as to include the above-
described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis and the
Secretary of State. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 13, 1974.
