AN ORDINANCE amending Section Three of Ordinance No.
2313, adopted July 27, 1972, by correcting the description of the
boundaries of Subdistrict No. 223 (Rock Hill & Green Springs
Sanitary Interceptor) contained therein, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 2313, adopted July 27,
1972, is hereby amended to correct the description of the
boundaries of Subdistrict No. 223 (Rock Hill & Green Springs
Sanitary Interceptor), as set forth in Section Three thereof, by
adding the following wording:
thence northeasterly along the southeastern line of said last
described Perry property to its intersection with a line
parallel with, and 125.00' southwesterly from, measured
normal or at 90Ε to the centerline of Rock Hill Rd., 40'
wide;
Section Two. Section Three of said Ordinance No. 2313
shall be as follows:
"Section Three. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 2313
(Rock Hill & Green Springs Sanitary Interceptor) shall be as
follows:

ROCK HILL & GREEN SPRINGS SANITARY INTERCEPTOR
Beginning in the centerline of Rock Hill Road, at its intersection
with the northern prolongation of the west line of Lot 15 of GRANT
FOREST, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Mo., as per plat
thereof recorded in P.B. 34, Pg. 26, St. Louis County, Mo.
Recorder's office; thence south along said prolongation and along
the west lines of Lots 15 - 9, incl., of said GRANT FOREST, to the
southwest corner of said Lot 9; thence east along the south lines
of Lots 9 and 21 of said subdivision to the southeast corner of
said Lot 21; thence north along the east line of said Lot 21 to
the southwest corner of property conveyed to Harry J. Ewers, Jr.
and wife, by deed recorded in Bk. 2477, Pg. 318, said Recorder's
office; thence east along the south lines of said Ewers property
and of property conveyed to Frances K. Perry, by deed recorded in
Bk. 5021, Pg. 24, said Recorder's office to the southeast corner
of said Perry property; thence southeasterly along the
northeastern lines of property conveyed to George W. Ashworth by
deed recorded in Bk. 4666, Pg. 512, said Recorder's office and of
FOREST HAVEN NO. 2 - SEC. "B," a subdivision as per plat thereof
recorded in P.B. 85, Pg. 49, said Recorder's office, to the
westernmost corner of property conveyed to Reed A. Schmidt by deed
recorded in Bk. 4967, Pg. 612, said Recorder's office; thence
northeasterly, southeasterly and southwesterly along the
northwestern, northeastern and southeastern lines, resp., of said
Schmidt property, to its southernmost corner in the northeastern
line of said FOREST HAVEN NO. 2 - SEC. "B"; thence southeasterly

along said last described subdivision line and along the northeast
line of Lot 5 of FOREST HAVEN NO. 2, a subdivision as per plat
thereof recorded in P.B. 80, Pg. 37 said Recorder's office to the
westernmost corner of Lot 4 of said FOREST HAVEN NO. 2; thence
northeasterly along the northwestern line of said FOREST HAVEN NO.
2 to its intersection with a line parallel with, and 233.31'
southwesterly from, measured normal and/or 90Ε to the centerline
of Rock Hill Rd., as established 40' wide, as per plat thereof
recorded in P.B. 33, Pp. 28, 29 & 30, said Recorder's office;
thence westerly along said parallel line to the southernmost
corner of property conveyed to Harry Rung by deed recorded in Bk.
6373, Pg. 1933 said Recorder's office; thence northeasterly along
the southeastern line of said Rung property 234' to the centerline
of said Rock Hill Rd.; thence northwesterly along said road
centerline 46.67' to the northernmost corner of said Rung
property; thence southwesterly along the northwestern line of said
Rung property 234' to its westernmost corner; thence northwesterly
along said line parallel with and 233.31' southwesterly from,
measured at right angles to, the centerline of said Rock Hill Rd.,
to its intersection with the southwestern line of property
conveyed to Robert E. Coe and wife, by deed recorded in Bk. 6480,
Pg. 1034, said Recorder's office; thence northeasterly along the
southeastern line of said Coe property, 78.08'; thence
northwesterly parallel with said Rock Hill Rd., 80' to the
northwestern line of said Coe property; thence southwesterly along
said northwestern line, 78.08'; thence northwesterly along said

line parallel with and 233.31' southwesterly from, measured at 90Ε
and/or normal to the centerline of said Rock Hill Rd., to its
intersection with the southeastern line of a 7.00' wide strip of
land conveyed to Frances K. Perry by deed recorded in Bk. 5021,
Pg. 26, said Recorder's office; thence northeasterly and
northwesterly along the southeastern and northeastern lines,
resp., of said strip of land to its northernmost corner in the
southeastern line of property conveyed to Frances K. Perry, by
deed recorded in Bk. 5021, Pg. 24, said Recorder's office; thence
northeasterly along the southeastern line of said last described
Perry property to its intersection with a line parallel with, and
125.00' southwesterly from, measured normal or at 90Ε to the
centerline of Rock Hill Rd., 40' wide; thence westerly and
parallel to the centerline of said Rock Hill Rd., 40' wide; to an
intersection with the east line of said GRANT FOREST; thence north
along the east line of GRANT FOREST, and its northern
prolongation, to the centerline of Rock Hill Rd.; and thence
northwesterly along said road centerline to the beginning.
Section Three. This Ordinance is for the correction of
the description of the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 223 (Rock
Hill & Green Springs Sanitary Interceptor), and without this
correction, the construction of sanitary sewers which are
necessary for the protection of the public health in said
Subdistrict cannot proceed, therefore, an emergency exists within
the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
