AN ORDINANCE transferring Two Hundred Fifty-five
Thousand Dollars ($255,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Subdistrict Operating Fund as a loan to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 367 (Deer
Creek Stormwater Subdistrict), and providing for the repayment of
said sum; and further appropriating Two Hundred Fifty-five
Thousand Dollars ($255,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 367 (Deer Creek
Stormwater Subdistrict) for the construction of storm sewers in
the project known as 74-DC-3 (Runnymede Storm Sewer - Phase I, II
and III) in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) toward the costs of said
project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
moneys will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 367 (Deer Creek
Stormwater Subdistrict),
WHEREAS, the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, has agreed
to contribute Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) toward the
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said moneys will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 367 (Deer
Creek Stormwater Subdistrict).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty-five
Thousand Dollars ($255,000.00) is hereby transferred from the
Mississippi River Subdistrict Operating Fund as a loan to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Subdistrict No. 367 (Deer Creek Stormwater Subdistrict); said sum
to be repaid from the revenue of that Subdistrict from taxes
levied and assessed in the Year 1974, and to be collected within
the 1974-75 fiscal year.
Section Two. The officers of the District are
directed to repay to the Mississippi River Subdistrict Operating
Fund the Two Hundred Fifty-five Thousand Dollars ($255,000.00) as
soon as receipts are collected from the tax levy made for the Year
1974 in Subdistrict No. 367 (Deer Creek Stormwater Subdistrict).
Section Three. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty-five
Thousand Dollars ($255,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Subdistrict No. 367 (Deer Creek Stormwater Subdistrict) for the
construction of storm sewers in the project known as 74-DC-3
(Runnymede Storm Sewer - Phase I, II and III) in the City of Creve
Coeur, Missouri.
Section Four. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
