Home My Public Portal About02714 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2714 AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 2622, adopted July 31, 1974, and Ordinance No. 2635, adopted August 14, 1974, and enacting a new ordinance in lieu thereof relating to the same subject, establishing those positions that comprise the Unclassified Service of the District and fixing the compensation thereof, namely those of Executive Director, Secretary-Treasurer, General Counsel, the Directors of Wastewater Treatment, Engineering, Maintenance, and Personnel Departments, Deputy Director of Finance, and Assistant Executive Director. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 2622, adopted July 31, 1974, Ordinance No. 2635, adopted August 14, 1974, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed, effective December 31, 1974. Section Two. The Unclassified Service of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District shall be comprised of the positions of Executive Director, Secretary-Treasurer, General Counsel, the Directors of Wastewater Treatment, Engineering, Maintenance, and Personnel Departments, Deputy Director of Finance, and Assistant Executive Director, and their salaries shall be as set out in the following sections of this Ordinance. Section Three. The salary of the Executive Director shall be at the rate of $36,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi- weekly installments. Section Four. The salary of the Secretary-Treasurer shall be $26,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Five. The salary of the General Counsel shall be $36,000.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Six. The salary of the Director of Wastewater Treatment Department shall be $28,500.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Seven. The salary of the Personnel Director shall be $23,250.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Eight. The salary of the Director of Engineering shall be $23,500.00 per annum, payable in equal bi- weekly installments. Section Nine. The salary of the Director of Maintenance shall be $24,600.00 per annum, payable in equal bi- weekly installments. Section Ten. The salary of the Deputy Director of Finance shall be $21,750.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Eleven. The salary of the Assistant Executive Director shall be $28,800.00 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. Section Twelve. This Ordinance shall take effect January 1, 1975. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 11, 1974.
