HomeMy Public PortalAbout02737 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2737 AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to Fireman's Fund American Insurance Company (R. B. Jones of St. Louis, Inc., Agent) for the District's automobile fleet insurance coverage from February 1, 1975 to February 1, 1976, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Fireman's Fund American Insurance Company, who submitted the lowest bid to the District for the District's automobile fleet insurance of those bids received and opened on January 21, 1975, at 11:00 a.m., at the District's office by the Secretary-Treasurer, at and for a premium of Twenty- seven Thousand Thirty Dollars ($27,030.00) for such policy period, is hereby awarded the contract for such automobile fleet insurance coverage. Section Two. This Ordinance being for the award of a contract for the District's automobile fleet insurance and thus being necessary for the protection of the public welfare, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 29, 1975.
