AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract, No. E-266, with the firm
of Warren & Van Praag, Inc. for engineering services relating to
the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase I, Water
Pollution Control Study, St. Louis County - areas tributary to the
Meramec River - Mattese Watershed.
WHEREAS, by Resolution Numbers 1411 and 1412 adopted on
November 27, 1974, the Executive Director was authorized to file
applications on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri
Clean Water Commission for grants to aid in the cost of the
preparation of preliminary engineering in accordance with the
East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase I, Water Pollution
Control Study, St. Louis County - areas tributary to the Meramec
River, and
WHEREAS, the District has requested and advertised for
and received proposals from engineering firms stating their
qualifications to perform said work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer be and they are hereby authorized to enter
into a contract, No. E-266, with the firm of Warren & Van Praag,
Inc. for engineering services relating to the East-West Gateway
Coordinating Council Phase I, Water Pollution Control Study, St.
Louis County - areas tributary to the Meramec River - Mattese
Watershed.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One
of this Ordinance shall provide for a total fee in the amount of
Thirty-two Thousand Dollars ($32,000.00) and such other terms and
conditions as are approved by the General Counsel of the District.
