HomeMy Public PortalAbout02760 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2760 AN ORDINANCE appropriating Twenty Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($20,600.00) from the Mississippi River Subdistrict General Fund for the cost of engineering contracts for the design of sanitary interceptor sewers and appurtenances and a treatment plant or treatment plants to serve areas tributary to the Missouri River - Spanish Lake Watershed, in accordance with the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase II, Water Pollution Control Study, St. Louis County; WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the District will receive a seventy-five percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States government to pay seventy- five percent (75%) of the cost of said contracts, upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said moneys will be returned to the Mississippi River Subdistrict General Fund; and WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the District will receive a fifteen percent (15%) grant from the Clean Water Commission of the State of Missouri to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said contracts, upon receipt of such funds from said source, said moneys will be returned to the Mississippi River Subdistrict General Fund, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Twenty Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($20,600.00) is hereby appropriated from the Mississippi River Subdistrict General Fund to pay for the cost of engineering contracts for the design of sanitary interceptor sewers and appurtenances and a treatment plant or treatment plants to serve areas tributary to the Missouri River - Spanish Lake Watershed, in accordance with the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase II, Water Pollution Control Study, St. Louis County. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 26, 1975.
