AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract, No. E-271, with the firm
of Zurheide-Herrmann, Inc. for engineering services relating to
the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase II, Water
Pollution Control Study, St. Louis County - areas tributary to the
Missouri River - Spanish Lake Watershed.
WHEREAS, by Resolution Numbers 1416 and 1417, adopted
on January 29, 1975, the Executive Director was authorized to file
applications on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri
Clean Water Commission for grants to aid in the cost of the
preparation of preliminary engineering in accordance with the
East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase II, Water Pollution
Control Study, St. Louis County - areas tributary to the Missouri
River,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer be and they are hereby authorized to enter
into a contract, No. E-271, with the firm of Zurheide-Herrmann,
Inc., for engineering services relating to the East-West Gateway
Coordinating Council Phase II, Water Pollution Control Study, St.
Louis County - areas tributary to the Missouri River - Spanish
Lake Watershed.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One
of this Ordinance shall provide for a total fee in the amount of
Twenty Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($20,600.00) and such other
terms and conditions as are approved by the General Counsel of the
District.
