AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to purchase an easement from the owners of certain real
property in St. Louis County, Missouri, for stormwater
improvements.
WHEREAS, the purchase price of said easement to be
acquired by the District for stormwater improvements is Three
Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00), One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) of
which is to be reimbursed by the State of Missouri, and an
additional One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) of which is to be
reimbursed by St. Louis County, Missouri.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer of the District are hereby authorized to
purchase an easement from the owners of the following real
property in St. Louis County, Missouri, for stormwater
improvements, at a price not to exceed Three Thousand Dollars
($3,000.00), said property described as follows:
The North part of Lot 7, Subdivision of the Estate of Daniel
Bissell, St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. Upon the execution and delivery to them
by said owners of an Easement Deed in proper form, conveying an
easement upon said land to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer shall
be and are hereby authorized and directed to pay said owners, for
said easement, the total sum of Three Thousand Dollars
($3,000.00). The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 26,
1975.
