HomeMy Public PortalAbout02776 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2776 AN ORDINANCE, vacating a sewer easement and the unused sewer therein in former St. Charles Street in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, Missouri, by Ordinance No. 56477 vacated St. Charles Street from the east line of Eighth Street eastward to the west line of Seventh Street, and WHEREAS, by said Ordinance the City of St. Louis reserved an easement for sewer purposes over said street and The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District is successor in title to said easement, and WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has requested this District to vacate a portion of such easement strip, and this District has no further use for such easement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The following described sewer easement and the unused sewer therein is hereby vacated, to wit: 1. That sewer easement reserved by the City of St. Louis, Missouri, by its Ordinance No. 56477 lying in former St. Charles Street from the east line of Eighth Street to the northward prolongation of the west line of former Cinerama Way. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 12, 1975.
