AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-four Thousand Dollars
($54,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for the construction
of storm sewers in the project known as Velma Avenue Storm
Drainage Improvement (74-MC-17), in the City of Berkeley,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon the receipt of
such funds from said source, said moneys will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Berkeley, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said moneys will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Maline Creek,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty-four Thousand Dollars
($54,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to
be used for the construction of storm sewers in the project known
as Velma Avenue Storm Drainage Improvement (74-MC-17), in the City
of Berkeley, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 20, 1975.
