HomeMy Public PortalAbout02845 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2845 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixty-three Thousand Dollars ($163,000.00) from the Construction Fund of the Mississippi River Subdistrict to be used for the construction of a combined storm and sanitary sewer in the project known as Ohio and Hickory Streets Storm Sewer Interceptor, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. WHEREAS, the aforementioned construction is necessary to prevent the overflow of raw sewage into the streets, and WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, Missouri has agreed to contribute one-half (1/2) of the costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, the Executive Director is authorized to issue the notice to proceed to the contractor, and said money will be returned to the Construction Fund of the Mississippi River Subdistrict, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty-three Thousand Dollars ($163,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Construction Fund of the Mississippi River Subdistrict to be used for the construction of a combined storm and sanitary sewer in the project known as Ohio and Hickory Streets Storm Sewer Interceptor, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1975.
