HomeMy Public PortalAbout02847 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2847 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 410 (Emerson and Windy Hill) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sanitary sewer or sanitary drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 410 (Emerson and Windy Hill). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 410 (Emerson and Windy Hill) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 EMERSON & WINDY HILL Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Windy Hill (formerly Maple) and Enola Aves., in the City of Kirkwood, St. Louis County, Mo.; thence westwardly along the centerline of said Windy Hill Ave. and its prolongation across Emerson Ave., and along the south lines of Lots 24 & 25 of HIGHLAND TERRACE, a subdivision in St. Louis County. Mo., as per plat thereof recorded in P.B. 10, Pg. 79, St. Louis County, Mo. Recorder's office, to an intersection with a line parallel with and 200' west of, measured at right angles to, the west line of Emerson Ave., 40' wide; thence north along said parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 101' south of, measured at right angles to, the south line of Westview Dr., 40' wide; thence east along said last described parallel line to the centerline of said Emerson Ave.; thence north along the centerline of Emerson Ave. to the south line of said Westview Dr.; thence east along the south line of Westview Dr. to a point 6.00' west of the northeast corner of Lot 23 of said HIGHLAND TERRACE; thence south and parallel with the east line of said Lot 23, a distance of 188.72'; thence east, parallel with Westview Dr., 6.00' to the southwest corner of Lot 22 of said HIGHLAND TERRACE; thence north 1.25' along the west line of said Lot 22; thence east and parallel with the south line of Westview Dr., to the west line of Lot 19 of said HIGHLAND TERRACE; thence south 1.25' along the west line of said Lot 19 to its southwest corner; thence east along the south line of said Lot 19 to its intersection with a line parallel with and 213' west of, 3 measured at right angles to, the west line of said Enola Ave.; thence south along said last described parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 120' north of, measured at right angles to, the north line of said Windy Hill Ave.; thence east along said last described parallel line, and its prolongation, to the centerline of Enola Ave.; and thence south along the centerline of Enola Ave. to the beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1975.
