HomeMy Public PortalAbout02858 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2858 AN ORDINANCE appropriating Thirty-seven Thousand Dollars ($37,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for the construction of storm sewers in the project known as Brenda Avenue, South of Gravois Road (R-175), 75-GC-11, in St. Louis County, Missouri. WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri has agreed to contribute one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, the Executive Director is authorized to issue the notice to proceed to the contractor, and said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Thirty-seven Thousand Dollars ($37,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for the construction of storm sewers in the project known as Brenda Avenue, South of Gravois Road (R-175), 75-GC-11, St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1975.
