AN ORDINANCE appropriating One Hundred Fifty-three
Thousand Dollars ($153,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for the
construction of storm sewers in the project known as Tyrell
Stormwater Project (Phase 1), 74-MC-14, in the City of Jennings,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon the receipt of
such funds from said source, said moneys will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Jennings, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, the Executive Director is
authorized to issue the notice to proceed to the contractor, and
said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty-three
Thousand Dollars ($153,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline
Creek to be used for the construction of storm sewers in the
project known as Tyrell Stormwater Project (Phase 1), 74-MC-14, in
the City of Jennings, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1975.
