HomeMy Public PortalAbout02866 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2866 AN ORDINANCE appropriating One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for the construction of storm sewers in Subdistrict No. 377 (Highway 67 & Cambria Creek) Phase 1, 74-MC-6, in the City of Moline Acres, Missouri. WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Moline Acres, Missouri has agreed to contribute one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, the Executive Director is authorized to issue the notice to proceed to the contractor, and said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and WHEREAS, one-half (1/2) the balance advanced by the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek is that Subdistrict's share of the construction costs, but the remaining one-half (1/2) is in the nature of a loan, upon receipt by the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Highway 67 and Cambria Creek Subdistrict of funds, such sums as are advanced as a loan shall be repaid to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for the construction of storm sewers in Subdistrict No. 377 (Highway 67 & Cambria Creek) Phase 1, 74-MC-6, in the City of Moline Acres, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1975.
