AN ORDINANCE transferring One Hundred Eighty-one
Thousand Dollars ($181,000.00) from the unappropriated surplus of
the Mississippi River Subdistrict Operating Fund to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek; and
appropriating One Hundred Eighty-one Thousand Dollars
($181,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for the construction of storm
sewers in the project known as Runnymede Phase IV (S-879), 75-DC-
3, in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon the receipt of
such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek, and then repaid to the Mississippi River Subdistrict
Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, has agreed
to contribute one-third (1/3) of the costs of said project; upon
the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and then repaid to the Mississippi
River Subdistrict Operating Fund,
WHEREAS, the sums advanced to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek are in
the nature of a loan; upon receipt by the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek of funds, such
sums shall be repaid to the Mississippi River Subdistrict
Operating Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Eighty-one
Thousand Dollars ($181,000.00) is hereby transferred from the
unappropriated surplus of the Mississippi River Subdistrict
Operating Fund to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek.
Section Two. The sum of One Hundred Eighty-one
Thousand Dollars ($181,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for the construction of storm sewers in the
project known as Runnymede Phase IV (S-879), 75-DC-3, in the City
of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 25, 1975.
