HomeMy Public PortalAbout02909 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2909 AN ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to Quit Claim an easement on certain real estate in St. Louis County, Missouri, to the State Highway Commission of Missouri, and to execute a Quit Claim Deed. WHEREAS, the hereinafter described easement is now unoccupied and the State Highway Commission of Missouri has requested that The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District transfer ownership of said easement to the State Highway Commission of Missouri by Quit Claim Deed, and The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has agreed to do so, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The District does hereby remise, release and forever Quit Claim any right, title or interest in or to the following described real estate, situated in St. Louis County, Missouri, described as follows: That portion of an easement granted to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District through instrument recorded in Book 6571, Page 2044 of the St. Louis County Records and located within the right-of-way of Route 67 (Lindbergh Boulevard), St. Louis County and more particularly described as follows: A parcel of land located in U.S. Surveys 5 and 6 of Marais Des Liards Common Fields in Township 47 North, Range 6 East, St. Louis County, Missouri and described as lying on the Southeast side of and adjoining the existing Southeast right-of-way line of Lindbergh Boulevard, (100 feet wide), having a uniform width of 10 feet, and extending Southwesterly from a point 60 feet perpendicular distance Southeast of Station 176+51.35 on the hereinafter described centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, a distance of 100.71 feet to a point 60 feet perpendicular distance Southeast of centerline Station 175+50.64. The centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, is described as follows: Beginning at Station 148+32.71 on the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, said centerline Station 148+32.71 being distant 58.98 feet South 53 degrees 12 minutes 14 seconds East of an iron pipe located at the most Eastern corner of Lot 5, of Fairmount Park, a subdivision in Township 46 North, Range 6 East, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 28 of the St. Louis County Records; thence North 36 degrees 47 minutes 46 seconds East along said centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, a distance of 539.23 feet to P.C. Station 153+71.94; thence Northeasterly along said centerline and on the arc of a curve to the left, having a radius of 11,459.18 feet, a distance of 725.33 feet to P.T. Station 160+97.27; thence North 33 degrees 10 minutes 10 seconds East along said centerline a distance of 1,902.73 feet to centerline Station 180+00, being the point of ending. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute in behalf of the District a deed giving effect to Section One hereof. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 23, 1975.
