AN ORDINANCE renewing a contract with the Lincoln
National Life Insurance Company for the District's employee
benefit group insurance coverage from November 1, 1975, on a
month-to-month basis, not to exceed two years.
WHEREAS, the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company,
the present carrier of the employee benefit group insurance
coverage from November 1, 1974 is agreeable to renewing such
contract at the present rate and on a month-to-month basis, from
and after its expiration date of November 1, 1975, subject to
change on 30 days notice: and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Board that a
solicitation of bids would result in no material advantage to the
District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Lincoln National Life Insurance
Company, the present carrier for the District's employee benefit
group insurance coverage, is hereby authorized a continuation of
contract for such coverage from and after November 1, 1975 at and
for the existing premium rate and on a month-to-month basis,
subject to change on 30 days notice, such additional period not to
exceed two years.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 15, 1975.
