AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer or
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from all
of the owners of the land in said area who own all of the land
area
therein praying for annexation to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, the Mississippi River Subdistrict and the Gravois Creek
Trunk Subdistrict; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, the Mississippi River Subdistrict and the Gravois
Creek Trunk Subdistrict and can drain all of its sanitary sewage
into existing sewers within the District and such Subdistrict,
that the interests of sanitation and public health of the District
will be promoted by including the area in its territory; and that
the sewage flow from the area proposed to be annexed has no
available outlet through public sanitary sewers other than those
of the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the existing boundary of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, as extended by Ordinance
No. 2191, adopted July 15, 1971, which point is the northwestern
corner of Lot 3, Forest Manors, a subdivision of St. Louis County,
Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 70,
Page 15 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along
the northern lot lines of said Lot 3 and Lots 2 and 1 of said
subdivision, to the northeastern corner of said Lot 1; thence
southwardly along the eastern line of said Lot 1 of said Forest
Manors Subdivision to the southeastern corner of said Lot 1, which
is also a point on the existing District boundary as extended by
aforesaid Ordinance No. 2191; thence westwardly along the southern
lot lines of said Lot 1 and Lots 2 and 3 of said subdivision,
which is also a part of the existing District boundary to the
southwestern corner of said Lot 3; thence northwestwardly along
the western lot line of said Lot 3 of aforesaid Forest Manors
Subdivision, which is also a part of the existing District
boundary to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for
annexation were signed by all of the owners of the land in said
area who own all of the land area of the area to be served.
Section Three. That the interests of sanitation and
public health of the District will be promoted by including the
area in its territory.
Section Four. That the sewage flow from the area
proposed to be annexed has no available outlet through public
sanitary sewers other than those of the District.

Section Five. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Mississippi River
Subdistrict and the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict are hereby
extended so as to include the above-described area.
Section Six. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis and the
Secretary of State.
