HomeMy Public PortalAbout02945 O R D I N A N C E NO. 2945 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-one Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($41,600.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek as an advancement for the construction of sanitary sewers in the project known as Saxon Manor Sanitary Interceptor, in St. Louis County, Missouri, and providing for repayment of such advancement. WHEREAS, the Environmental Protection Agency, United States of America, has approved a grant in aid of financing such improvement conditioned on the advance payment of costs in cash by the District, WHEREAS, the Missouri Clean Water Commission has approved a grant in aid of financing such improvement conditioned on the advance payment of costs in cash by the District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Forty-one Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($41,600.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek as an advancement for the construction of sanitary sewers in the project known as Saxon Manor Sanitary Interceptor, in St. Louis County, Missouri, pending payment into the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek of the costs hereby anticipated from the Federal and State Grants in aid, and cash payments in aid from any other source. Section Two. The anticipated payments, together with any interest earned shall be paid into the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek named in Section One, as received. Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 29, 1975.
