AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer to sell certain real property
belonging to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, located in
the City of St. Louis.
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District no
longer has any use for said property, and
WHEREAS, the purchaser has offered a fair price for
said property,
WHEREAS, the proceeds of said sale will be deposited in
the Mississippi River Construction Fund, from which the purchase
price was appropriated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to sell, at the price
of Fifty-eight Thousand Dollars ($58,000.00) certain real property
belonging to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, said real
property is described as follows, to wit: A parcel of land being part of Block 3321 and Block 3328 of the City of St. Louis and described as: Fronting 100 feet on the north line of East Grand Ave. by a depth northwardly between parallel lines of 610.33 feet. Said parcel being bounded on its west line by the former centerline of Stockton Street vacated.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby directed to execute and deliver a deed for
the above-described property on payment to The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District of the sum of Fifty-eight Thousand Dollars
($58,000.00).
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 14, 1976.
