AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to purchase from the owners thereof certain real property
in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, for the purpose of right-of-
way along the River des Peres.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer of the District are hereby authorized to
purchase from the owners thereof, the following real property in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri, for the purpose of right-of-way
along the River des Peres, at a price not to exceed Thirteen
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($13,500.00), said property to be
free of all encumbrances, said property described as follows: Lot "B" of a Subdivision of part of Lots 12, 13 and 14 of KENRICK'S SUBDIVISION and in BLOCK 3221 of the City of St. Louis, according to a Survey thereof executed by Clayton Surveying & Engineering Company of July 9, 1960, the plat of which is recorded in Survey Record 11, Page 29 of the St. Louis City Records, fronting 30 feet on the Western line of VIRGINIA AVENUE, by a depth Westwardly of 149.94 feet on the Northern line to the Western line of said Lot along which there is a width of 14.13 feet and 121.71 feet along the Southern line to the Right of Way of River des Peres along which there is a dimension of 32.38 feet.
Section Two. Upon the execution and delivery to them
by said owners of a Warranty Deed in proper form, being free from
liens and encumbrances, conveying title to the said land to The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer shall be and are hereby authorized and
directed to pay said owners, for said land, the total sum of
Thirteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($13,500.00). The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 10, 1975.
