AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with the City of Crestwood,
Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 of the United States of America, for the receipt of Federal
funds to be used for construction of Pardee Lane & Highway 66
(Traffic Signals & Left Turn Exit) S-835, in the City of
Crestwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 will provide the City of Crestwood, Missouri, with Federal
funds for public works projects, and
WHEREAS, said Act requires contracts between the
District and the City of Crestwood, Missouri, for the undertaking
of such projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to contract with the
City of Crestwood, Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974 of the United States of America, for the
receipt of Federal funds to be used for construction of Pardee
Lane & Highway 66 (Traffic Signals & Left Turn Exit) S-835, in the
City of Crestwood, Missouri, in the form as attached hereto.
Section Two. The construction contract between the
District and the contractor for said construction was awarded in
accordance with standard District policies.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 14, 1976.
