AN ORDINANCE appropriating Sixty-seven Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($67,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
the construction of storm sewers in the project known as Jefferson
Street and St. Marie Street (S-949), in the City of Florissant,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, said construction is a cooperative project
between the City of Florissant, Missouri and the District, and
WHEREAS, the City of Florissant, Missouri, has agreed
to contribute Forty-three Thousand Dollars ($43,000.00) to cover
the costs of materials, and further perform the site restoration
necessary for the completion of said project, with the District
paying for the engineering, labor and equipment only; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, the Executive Director is
authorized to issue the notice to proceed to the contractor, and
said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty-seven Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($67,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for the construction of storm sewers in
the project known as Jefferson Street and St. Marie Street
(S-949), in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 10, 1976.
