AN ORDINANCE making a supplemental appropriation of
Fourteen Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($14,300.00) from the
General Fund of the District for the cost of engineering contracts
for the design of sanitary interceptor sewers and appurtenances
and a treatment plant or treatment plants to serve areas tributary
to the Meramec River in accordance with the East-West Gateway
Coordinating Council Phase I, Water Pollution Control Study, St.
Louis County.
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the District will
receive a seventy-five percent (75%) grant from the Environmental
Protection Agency of the United States government to pay
seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of said contracts, and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the District will
receive a fifteen percent (15%) grant from the Clean Water
Commission of the State of Missouri to pay fifteen percent (15%)
of the cost of said contracts,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fourteen Thousand Three
Hundred Dollars ($14,300.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the District as a supplemental appropriation for
the cost of engineering contracts for the design of sanitary
interceptor sewers and appurtenances and a treatment plant or
treatment plants to serve areas tributary to the Meramec River in
accordance with the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase
I, Water Pollution Control Study, St. Louis County.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 24, 1976.
