HomeMy Public PortalAbout03033 O R D I N A N C E NO. 3033 AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 2748, adopted January 29, 1975, and enacting a new ordinance relating to the same subject, authorizing the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer to enter into a contract, No. E-269 (AMENDED), with the firm of Horner & Shifrin, Incorporated for engineering services relating to the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase I, Water Pollution Control Study, St. Louis County - areas tributary to the Meramec River - the Meramec River Basin Main Interceptor Sewer System. WHEREAS, by Resolution Numbers 1411 and 1412 adopted on November 27, 1974, the Executive Director was authorized to file applications on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri Clean Water Commission for grants to aid in the cost of the preparation of preliminary engineering in accordance with the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase I, Water Pollution Control Study, St. Louis County - areas tributary to the Meramec River, and WHEREAS, the District has requested and advertised for and received proposals from engineering firms stating their qualifications to perform said work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 2748, adopted January 29, 1975, is hereby repealed. Section Two. The Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a contract, No. E-269 (AMENDED), with the firm of Horner & Shifrin, Incorporated for engineering services relating to the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase I, Water Pollution Control Study, St. Louis County - areas tributary to the Meramec River - the Meramec River Basin Main Interceptor Sewer System. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 24, 1976.
