AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 2745, adopted
January 29, 1975, and enacting a new ordinance relating to the
same subject, authorizing the Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract, No. E-265 (AMENDED), with the
firm of Stolwyk, McDaniel, Ferrenbach, Inc. for engineering
services relating to the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council
Phase I, Water Pollution Control Study, St. Louis County - areas
tributary to the Meramec River - Meramec Sub-Watershed 7.
WHEREAS, by Resolution Numbers 1411 and 1412 adopted
November 27, 1974, the Executive Director was authorized to file
applications on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri
Clean Water Commission for grants to aid in the cost of the
preparation of preliminary engineering in accordance with the
East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase I, Water Pollution
Control Study, St. Louis County - areas tributary to the Meramec
River, and
WHEREAS, the District has requested and advertised for
and received proposals from engineering firms stating their
qualifications to perform said work.
WHEREAS, the firm of Ryckman, Edgerley, Tomlinson &
Associates was previously selected to perform the services called
for in Contract No. E-265 (AMENDED), and
WHEREAS, the firm of Ryckman, Edgerley, Tomlinson &
Associates has since been selected to perform the Professional
Services to develop an Environmental Impact Statement for the
Lower Meramec River Basin, and
WHEREAS, the firm of Stolwyk, McDaniel, Ferrenbach,
Inc. has been selected to perform the services called for in
Contract No. E-265 (AMENDED),
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 2745, adopted January 29,
1975, is hereby repealed.
Section Two. The Executive Director and the
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a
contract, No. E-265 (AMENDED) with the firm of Stolwyk, McDaniel,
Ferrenbach, Inc. for engineering services relating to the
East-West Gateway Coordinating Council Phase I, Water Pollution
Control Study, St. Louis County - areas tributary to the Meramec
River - Meramec Sub-Watershed 7. A copy of said contract is
attached hereto and made a part hereof. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 24, 1976.
