HomeMy Public PortalAbout03056 O R D I N A N C E NO. 3056 AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to Blue Cross Hospital Service, Inc. of Missouri and Missouri Medical Service, an American United Life Insurance Company (William M. Mercer, agent), for the District's employee benefit group insurance coverage from June 1, 1976 to June 1, 1977, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Blue Cross Hospital Service, Inc. of Missouri and Missouri Medical Service, and American United Life Insurance Company, who submitted the lowest complete bid to the District for the District's employee benefit group insurance of those bids received and opened on April 1, 1976, a 11:00 am. at the District's offices by the Secretary-Treasurer, at and for a premium of Five Hundred Sixty-four Thousand Twenty-two Dollars ($564,022.00) for such policy period, are hereby awarded the contract for such employee benefit group insurance coverage. Section Two. This Ordinance being for the award of a contract for the District's employee benefit group insurance and thus being necessary for the protection of the District's employees, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 12, 1976.
