AN ORDINANCE, transferring Fifteen Thousand Dollars
($15,000.00) from the Mississippi River Subdistrict Operating Fund
as a loan to the Operation, Maintenance, and Construction
Improvement Fund of Loretta Joplin, and providing for the
repayment of said sum; and further appropriating Ninety Thousand
Dollars ($90,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, and
Construction Improvement Fund of Loretta Joplin for the
construction of storm sewers in the project known as Loretta
Joplin-Luna Avenue Extension
(S-920), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri has agreed to
contribute one-half (1/2) of the costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, the Executive Director is
authorized to issue the notice to proceed to the contractor, and
said moneys will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance, and
Construction Improvement Fund of Loretta Joplin,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars
($15,000.00) is hereby transferred from the Mississippi River
Subdistrict Operating Fund as a loan to the Operation,
Maintenance, and Construction Improvement Fund of Loretta Joplin;
said sum to be repaid from the revenue of that Subdistrict from
taxes levied and assessed in the Years 1976 and 1977, and to be
collected within the 1976-1977 and 1977-1978 fiscal years.
Section Two. The officers of the District are directed
to repay to the Mississippi River Subdistrict Operating Fund the
Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) as soon as receipts are
collected from the tax levy made for the Years 1976 and 1977 in
Subdistrict No.89 (Loretta Joplin).
Section Three. The sum of Ninety Thousand Dollars
($90,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Loretta Joplin
for the construction of storm sewers in the project known as
Loretta Joplin-Luna Avenue Extension (S-920) in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Four. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 26, 1976.
