AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Thousand Dollars
($6,000.00) from the General Fund of the District to pay Robert
Baskowitz Enterprises, Inc. interest on the escrow deposit for the
storm sewer system at Airport Industrial Park for the period of
March 30, 1972 to May 14, 1976.
WHEREAS, Robert Baskowitz Enterprises, Inc. deposited
Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) in escrow with The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District under
the terms of the escrow agreement was to pay the interest earned
on the Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) to Robert
Baskowitz Enterprises, Inc., and
WHEREAS, the escrow agreement has been terminated as of
May 4, 1976 by the payment to the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District of the said Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) and
an agreement by the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to pay
to Robert Baskowitz Enterprises, Inc. the sum of Six Thousand
Dollars ($6,000.00) in total payment of the interest owed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Thousand Dollars
($6,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the
District to pay Robert Baskowitz Enterprises, Inc. interest on the
escrow deposit for the storm sewer system at Airport Industrial
Park for the period of March 30, 1972 to May 14, 1976.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 26, 1976.
