O R D I N A N C E NO. 3167
AN ORDINANCE awarding a contract to Allendale Insurance
Company (The Wightman Agency, Inc., agent) for the District's
boiler insurance coverage from December 1, 1976 to December 1,
1979, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Allendale Insurance Company, who
submitted the lowest bid to the District for the District's boiler
insurance, of those bids received and opened on October 28, 1976,
at 11:00 A.M. at the District's office by the Secretary-Treasurer,
at and for a premium of Two Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-two
Dollars ($2,432.00) for such policy period, subject to $389.00
expected dividend, is hereby awarded the contract for such boiler
insurance coverage.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the award of a
contract for the District's boiler insurance and thus being
necessary for the protection of the public welfare, constitutes an
emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall
be and become effective immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 1, 1976.
