AN ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer to grant to the State Highway
Commission of Missouri an easement across a portion of an easement
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for the purpose of
highway improvements on State Highway Route 725 between Route I-
270 and Airport Road.
WHEREAS, the granting of said easement will not inter-
fere with the sewer service provided therein, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
does hereby grant to the State Highway Commission of Missouri an
easement for the purpose of highway improvements to State Highway
Route 725 between Route I-270 and Airport Road across a portion of
an easement owned by the District in St. Louis County, Missouri,
such easement being described as follows: A parcel of land in U. S. Survey 2979, Township 46 North, Range 6 East, St. Louis County, Missouri described as beginning at a point in the North line of a tract of land now or formerly owned by Busy Bee Material and Construction Company by deed recorded in Book 5537, Page 547 of the St. Louis County Records, said point being 100 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Busy Bee Material and Construction tract as measured along said North property line; thence North 87 degrees 28 minutes 28 seconds West a distance of 106.24 feet to a point; thence North 79 degrees 7 minutes 15 seconds West a distance of 9.45 feet to a point; thence South 5 degrees 44 minutes 33 seconds East a distance of 24.05 feet to a point; thence North 80 degrees 25 minutes 44 seconds West a distance of 114.50 feet to a point; thence North 5 degrees 44 minutes 33 seconds West a distance of 26.77 feet to a point; thence North 79 degrees 07 minutes 15 seconds West a distance of 78.77 feet to a point; thence South 5 degrees 19 minutes 44
seconds West a distance of 27.75 feet to a point; thence North 80 degrees 25 minutes 44 seconds West a distance of 98.50 feet to a point; thence North 5 degrees 19 minutes 44 seconds East a distance of 30.50 feet to a point; thence North 78 degrees 57 minutes 24 seconds West a distance of 98.42 feet to a point; thence North 78 degrees 18 minutes 07 seconds West a distance of 21.41 feet to a point; thence North 11 degrees 33 minutes 32 seconds East a distance of 76.36 feet to a point; thence South 80 degrees 25 minutes 44 seconds East a distance of 504.07.feet to a point; thence South 6 degrees 00 minutes 02 seconds East a distance of 76.81 feet to the point of beginning.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute in behalf
of the District an instrument giving effect to Section One hereof.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 9, 1977.
