AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive
Director and the Secretary-Treasurer to quit-claim certain real
property belonging to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2664, adopted September 25,
1974, authorized the purchase of said property, and
WHEREAS, by agreement with the City of St. Louis,
Missouri, said property was purchased with the understanding that
after completion of the River des Peres flood control program, the
City of St. Louis, Missouri, would reimburse the District for the
District's purchase expenditures for said property, and the
District would convey said property to the City, and
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, Missouri, has
reimbursed the District for said purchase expenditures,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to quit-claim certain
real property belonging to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to the City of St. Louis, Missouri, said real property is
described as follows, to wit: A tract of land being in the Northwest part of Lot 13 of KAYSER HEIGHTS and in BLOCK 3280 of the City of St. Louis.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby directed to execute and deliver a Quit-Claim
Deed to the City of St. Louis, Missouri, for the above described
property.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 13, 1977.
