AN ORDINANCE awarding a contract to General Accident
Fire and Life Assurance Corporation, Ltd. (Earl S. Crecelius of
Chas. W. DeWitt Insurance Agency, agent) for the District's
equipment insurance coverage from May 1, 1977 to May 1, 1980, with
an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT.
Section One. The General Accident Fire and Life
Assurance Corporation, Ltd., who submitted the lowest bid to the
District for the District's equipment insurance coverage of those
bids received and opened on April 8, 1977, at 11:00 A.M. at the
District's office by the Secretary-Treasurer, at and for a premium
of Nine Thousand Four Hundred Five and 04/00 Dollars ($9,405.01)
for such policy period, is hereby awarded the contract for such
equipment insurance coverage.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the award of a
contract for the District's equipment insurance and thus being
necessary for the protection of the public welfare, constitutes an
emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall
be and become effective immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 27, 1977.
