RESOLUTION LISTING CERTIFICATE OF TAX SALE
FOR RE-FORECLOSURE
WHEREAS, there exists a need within.the Borough of Carteret to take action to
proceed in "In Rem" foreclosure against tax sale certificates on behalf of the Borough,
so as to foreclose the equity of redemption of owners of properties for which tax sale
certificates exists; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has undertaken the necessary steps to engage Joseph P.
Schiappa, Esq. as special legal counsel, for the purposes of proceeding in these
foreclosure actions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Borough of Carteret, Middlesex
County and State of New Jersey, the Governing Body of the Borough of Carteret,
that the Tax Sale Certificates shown on the attached foreclosure list now held by the
Borough of Carteret be reforeclosed by the summary proceedings IN REM, and as
described byNew Jersey Statutes R.S. 54:5-104.29 to R.S 54:5-104.71, as amended,
and R.S. 54:5-104.72, and pursuant to the Rules of Civil Practice of the Superior
Court of New Jersey.
Adopted this 19th day of September, 1996
and certified as a true copy of the original
on September 20, 1996.
