AN ORDINANCE appropriating Twenty-five Thousand Dollars
($25,000.00) from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund
to be used to pay the Board of Election Commissioners of St. Louis
County for a part of their costs for holding the District's
annexation election.
WHEREAS, the total reimbursable costs to the Board of
Election Commissioners for holding the election on the question of
annexation of a portion of St. Louis County to The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District on May 10, 1977 was Thirty-eight Thousand
Three Hundred Forty-two Dollars and Twenty-two Cents ($38,342.22);
and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County has contributed the sum of
Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) to help defray the costs
of such election, now in the District's General Fund, and which
the District wishes to use to pay the balance due the said Board
of Election Commissioners,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars
($25,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated
balance of the General Fund to be used to repay the Board of
Election Commissioners of St. Louis County that balance due for
the holding of the District's annexation election on May 10, 1977.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 1977.
