HomeMy Public PortalAbout03325 O R D I N A N C E NO. 3325 AN ORDINANCE appropriating Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00) from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund to the Secretary-Treasurer's Department to pay for the services of the firm of Marsh & McLennan, Incorporated, as insurance consultant from September 15, 1977 through September 14, 1978, WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3210, adopted March 30, 1977, establishes the procedure for securing an Insurance Consultant for the District and prescribes the services to be rendered by such consultant; and WHEREAS, as a result of advertisement, solicitations, statements of qualifications, correspondence, and interviews, the Insurance Advisory Committee has reviewed and analyzed the qualifications and suitability of the seven firms being considered for such position, and unanimously recommends the firm of Marsh & McLennan, Incorporated, be hired as such consultant, at and for a fee not to exceed the sum of Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00) per annum, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund to the Secretary-Treasurer's Department to be used to pay for the services of the firm of Marsh & McLennan, Incorporated, as insurance consultant from September 15, 1977 through September 14, 1978, and the Secretary-Treasurer is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with such firm, setting forth the terms of such services in accordance with the provisions of aforesaid Ordinance No. 3210 and as approved by the General Counsel Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 31, 1977. -2-
