COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, OCTOBER 2, 2017
CALL TO ORDER
The City Council “Pre-Meeting” of October 2, 2017, was convened at 5:49 P.M. by
Mayor Carrie Tergin.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Henry, Hussey, Kemna, Prather, Schreiber,
Ward and Wiseman
Absent: Mihalevich
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Addition to Agenda – Mayor Tergin stated that former Councilman Bill Luebbert had
requested to make a brief “thank you” presentation to the City Council and staff for its
participation in the Old Munichburg Oktoberfest and unless the Council objected, she
would like to allow him to do so under Miscellaneous Agenda Items.
Bill 2017-74 (substitute) – Amending Personnel Policy Manual pertaining to floating
holiday. Discussion was held regarding this item, and a substitute bill was distributed
that changed the title of the article from “floating holiday” to “paid time off.”
