AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Forty-seven
Thousand Dollars ($247,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for the
construction of storm sewers in Bismark and Rock Hill (S-995), in
the Cities of Rock Hill and Webster Groves, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00) toward the costs of said
project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Rock Hill, Missouri has agreed to
contribute Eighty-two Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-five Dollars
($82,685.00) toward the costs of said project; upon the receipt of
such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Webster Groves, Missouri, pursuant
to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed
to contribute Twenty-nine Thousand Eight Hundred Fifteen Dollars
($29,815.00) toward the costs of said project; upon receipt of
such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Forty-seven
Thousand Dollars ($247,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for the construction of storm sewers in Bismark
and Rock Hill (S-995), in the Cities of Rock Hill and Webster
Groves, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 9, 1977.
