AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with the City of Florissant,
Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 of the United States of America, for the receipt of federal
funds to be used for storm sewer construction in Ridgelawn &
Graham (S-1251), in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974 will provide the City of Florissant, Missouri, with federal
funds for public works projects, and
WHEREAS, said Act requires contracts between the
District and the City of Florissant, Missouri, for the undertaking
of sewer projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to contract with the City of
Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974 of the United States of America, for the
receipt of federal funds to be used for storm sewer construction
in Ridgelawn & Graham (S-1251), in the City of Florissant,
Missouri, in the form as attached hereto.
Section Two. The construction will be completed in
accordance with standard District policies for the Cooperative Job
Program.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 1977.
