AN ORDINANCE appropriating Four Hundred Twenty-four
Thousand Dollars ($424,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Subdistrict Operating Fund to be used for the construction of
combined sewers in New Mill Creek Sewers Extension and Repairs, in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the United States of America through the
Department of the Army, Corps of Engineers, has agreed to
contribute Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) toward the costs of
said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Mississippi River Subdistrict
Operating Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Twenty-four
Thousand Dollars ($424,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Subdistrict Operating Fund to be used for the
construction of combined sewers in New Mill Creek Sewers Extension
and Repairs, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 25, 1978.
