AN ORDINANCE appropriating Fifty-four Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($54,500.00) from the unappropriated balance of
the General Fund to the Secretary-Treasurer's Department Account
1-1011-309 (contractual services), to be used to pay for the cost
of billing and collection of the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict
and Missouri Bottoms Service Area service charges for the
remainder of this fiscal year.
WHEREAS, the cost of billing and collecting the Fee Fee
Trunk Sewer Subdistrict and Missouri Bottoms Service Area service
charges is estimated to be Fifty-four Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars ($54,500.00) for such work now done and to be done before
June 30, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the Fee Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict and the
Missouri Bottoms Service Area have as yet insufficient funds for
their needs, and the advancement of such sum is necessary to pay
such billing and collection costs, which should be repaid to the
General Fund when such money becomes available,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty-four Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($54,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the
unappropriated balance of the General Fund to the Secretary-
Treasurer's Department Account 1-1011-309 (contractual services)
to be used to pay for the cost of billing and collecting the Fee
Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict and Missouri Bottoms Service Area
service charges for the remainder of this fiscal year.
Section Two. Upon receipt of adequate funds by the Fee
Fee Trunk Sewer Subdistrict and Missouri Bottoms Service Area,
such sums will be repaid to the District's General Fund.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 25, 1978.
