AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to execute an Amendment to Contract E-232 with Consoer,
Townsend & Associates, Consulting Engineers, for the design and
construction of the necessary sewage interception system and
interim wastewater treatment facilities to serve the "Bonfils"
(Bonfils - Missouri Bottoms) area.
WHEREAS, the District and said Consulting Engineers
entered into Contract E-232 on March 5, 1973, and
WHEREAS, the requirements of the United States
Environmental Protection Agency and the Missouri Department of
Natural Resources have necessitated certain amendments to Contract
E-232, and
WHEREAS, current developments have compelled certain
modifications in the scope of work as specified by Contract E-232.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to execute an Amendment to Contract E-232
with Consoer, Townsend & Associates, Consulting Engineers, for the
design and construction of the necessary sewage interception
system and interim wastewater treatment facilities to serve the
"Bonfils" (Bonfils - Missouri Bottoms) area, in the form as
attached hereto. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 8, 1978.
